Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
has its origin in ancient Taoist philosophy which views a person as an energy system in which the body, mind and spirit are unified into one when in harmony. Each part of the whole influences and balances the other three and likewise, affects the other parts when out of harmony. TCM looks at the person as a whole, not as a part, and it emphasizes a holistic approach that will balance and bring the mind, body and spirit into harmony. It accomplishes this by manipulating and moving qi (the vital energy of the body) via acupuncture, Chinese Herbal formulas, tuina (massage techniques), cupping, food therapy (nutrition and food supplements). Maintaining balance is achieved through Tai Chi Chuan, qi gong, or wellness check ups. All of these techniques have been used and refined by the Chinese for more than 3,000 years, with consistent and remarkable effect.

Acupuncture treatments include a traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and evaluation using the pulse, tongue and symptoms of the patient, which may then followed by a food therapy consultation and an acupuncture treatment. Dr. Graham is committed to giving each patient quality care and personal attention. We provide our patients with the safest and most effective methods of acupuncture and Oriental medicine.

At TCM Specialists, we specialize in fertility treatments and also work with patients undergoing treatment therapies for cancer (chemotherapy and radiation). In our practice we also treat patients with chronic pain, nervous system and muscular disorders, stress release, menopausal symptoms, weight loss, addictions (stop smoking, etc.), and fatigue. When needed, we suggest the use of medical qi gong which is a form of Traditional Chinese healing using the bioenergetics of the body.

Fertility Treatments:
(Initial $125 and follow up $95) begins with a full history of the patient and workup of TCM diagnosis taking into account any treatments that they may be currently undergoing under the auspices of their medical physician. We provide pre and post treatments at $95/session. Treatments performed at reproductive specialist offices may be considered at additional cost and will include a prior transfer acupuncture treatment and post transfer treatment. Dr. Graham has trained with Randine Lewis and Sadna Singh in their treatment methods as well as in the traditional methods of TCM diagnosis and treatment. Our current success rate is at 67%!
Acupuncture for Cancer Patients:
(Initial $125 and follow up $95) begins with a full history of the patient along with a discussion on current Western Medicine therapies and how TCM treatments may help with the side-effects of those treatments. Dr. Graham has worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center doing research on the use of acupuncture for the side-effects of Xerostomia and has worked on patients in both the Place of Wellness and as in-patients.
